TextMate – yeah, I’m sure I’ve tried that before. I also hear a lot of really good things about TextWrangler so I’ll probably try them both.

I’m not allowed to use Dreamweaver or the like, and the assignment instructions also suggest using a browser from the Netscape family, ie. Firefox. You’re supposed to specify which browser you tested it in so they can use that browser to mark it. If only your job were so easy, eh?

CSS = awesome. It’s surprisingly easy to get the hang of.

Make sure to download the Developer and Firebug beta for Fx3 add-ons because they help so much. I use TextMate as my text editor because its clean, simple yet effective. Sometime I’ll show you the cool stuff you can do with it but there are a lot of other good editors as well. (Don’t be a biznatch and use dreamweaver, it won’t help that much anyway) Also, don’t forget to test the site on IE because it might be getting marked on it.

Haha, bummer. I know I did a little digging at the time and for whatever reason I thought I had the gender right. Sigh. Who decides these things anyway?
